the sont erricsons are usually good, & my wife has the w995, & she's very happy with it,   not sure on the model numbers, but i have noticed there are a lot of touchscreen phones on £20 pm contracts,  i'm told the tocco lite is pretty good...

tho, my vote still goes to the iphone,  but at the same time, it is overpriced Sad

I havent had any other phone than a Sony for the last 10 years. Looking at the Satio for my next phone (if they sort out the problems)

Having said that was playing with a friends Tocco lite the other day - pretty nifty

Out of the list you gave I would go for the sony as long as it is not a touch screen/smartphone version they are struggling with those at the moment.

If your looking at other phones I would look at HTC's they have some nice smartphones that are not in the price range of the Iphone such as the hero and the to soon come out legend (this may be expensive though).

have you seen the new HTC legend Happy  it looks like one ofe iphone "sciphone" bootleg copies lol Happy

should be a good phone tho, as long as they don't try to price it alongside the iphone..

iPhone is on everything, not just £30 a month. Though it is more obviously on pay as you go.

I got the Nokia 5800 on Virgin last week ,  I signed up for an 18 month £10 per month contract and got the phone  free with 100 minutes and 100 text messages a month.

Looks like it's only free at the £15 and upwards tariff now - Details here.

It's a pretty good  phone  with sat nav and wifi also comes with an 8GB card to fill up with music , video etc.
