Favourites folder has been moved
posted by stephen harris on Saturday, 16th February 2008, 19:06

Competent

My IE7 favourites folder has suddenly been migrated to an external drive which I don't have connected all the time.
when I have this drive disconnected I can't use favourites, even though the original folder still exists.
I haven't changed anything recently, and have no idea why it should have done this, can anyone help ??

Elite

Connect up your drive, powerup IE7 then select file-->import & export-->click next-->select import favorites and tell the dialog where the existing favorites are.

This will allow you to copy your external faves to the normal directory structure.
