I concur,
AVG is excellent.

I use the panda software online scan as well as Norton its very good free, easy to use, almost always up to date.

I used to use this and to be fair I never had a virus whilst it was installed. It then went through a nightmare period of not updating & freezing and all sorts. Since then I've started using AVAST which updates itsself very regularly & is very reassuring seeing the little blue ball spinning away merrily! It sounds as though AVG has been sorted now so you have a choice of 2 very good pieces of free software!
