Harmless

Hello to all, I'm a long term lurker but don't post very often.

Has anybody had trouble downloading the latest updates to nero 6? Every time I try no matter which server I choose I get an error message on the standard "white screen" that the server can not be found and I should check various things including my internet options.

Nothing has changed so I don't know why. I've recently upgraded to Norton 2005 but everything else is installing OK and I'm not getting any error message through Norton so I don't think its that.

I have xp sp2 but previous Nero upgrades have installed no problem.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Tried a few days back to get the Reloaded update but it wouldn't. Servers too busy I imagine. Not tried since though.

I never understand why Nero can't update using patches, rather than requiring everyone to download the whole massive program again. No hope if you're on a dial-up connection!

Mostly Harmless

Just been to the site, had to choose a mirror server and manually "click here" if download doesn't start, but the download began OK.

Think it's just a matter of patience, Ahead's fault for making software that is good.

Finally managed to get it to download but only by selecting the http option which took forever.

Anyway at least I now have the update.

I downloaded all the upgrades today from the new york mirror site and it all went very smoothely.
