I remember where I was when I was told.

Was a Friday night, down the pub with some college mates, I thought a mate was winding me up, 'cos I had tickets to see Nirvana, I was really ****ed off when it was confirmed true!

Was at Glastonbury, thought it was a stupid rumour, phoned my brother who advised that he hadn't actually died as Sky News was reporting initial reports to be incorrect and he'd had a heart attack.

I obviously continued to tell everyone that he wasn't dead and they were all wrong.

Back to Kurt Cobain (kind of) I remember seeing part of the Pamela Anderson "roast" and as Courtney Love was with her, this was one of the lines used

Somewhere in my house is my Nevermind CD, I've not seen it in years. This fact saddens me and every few months I go looking for it without joy.

I also had tickets to see them......didnt make it to Reading '92 so was bloody excited to be seeing them.

My story is the about the same, right down to the tickets (although I wasn't in college). I was slightly obsessed with Nirvana back then, so it was most annoying.

I think i was watching the word when I found out

Luckily, for me, I saw them at reading.

Unluckily, I did not think that they were great live

Still, I bought the DVD.

I've only got nevermind on tape. I should probably update that!

The original Nirvana were better.
