Super Admin

I missed the tickets for the IoW festival. Sad Are there any good sites to buy them other than ebay?

I'm sure play.com had an area to get tickets, either I couldn't see it, or they removed it for various reasons.

had a quick look at nme's site, they have a linkt hrough to

http://www.viagogo.co.uk/nme/Concert-Tickets/Festivals/Isle-of-Wight-Festival-Tickets/E-322497

you could try various music magazine's sites, Metal Hammer etc as they may have reputable links

Competent

I've never used either, but have these two links in my favourites list for just such an occasion:

http://swapmyticket.co.uk/index.asp

Oh and Gumtree might be worth a look too.

Cheers pips! I think I might have sold a spare one a few years ago on viagogo. I'll check all those out.

Was annoying, couldn't think what to search on google for, everything I tried just gave me links to news items that linked to the official place which had sold out.

Viagogo seems to have a good guarantee policy.
If the seller lets you down, they don't just lazily refund you.
They will get you tickets as good or better than the ones you bought.

I did not know that, thanks for pointing it out!

A few years ago I sold mine on somewhere, I think it may have even been Viagogo,  but I can't find any evidence of it. I had a spare because I found out it was cheaper to buy a ticket+ferry than individually, so went and got that after, selling the original.

Alas it wasn't a sell out till a week before so I think I lost about £10-£20 on the ticket, however I saved about that on the ferry. Winking

Interesting, seems to be a search engine of places to buy. I'll most likely go with Viagogo due to the guarantee.

I thought they are releasing more tickets in March?

How many do you want - there was one going spare in work a few days ago.

They are? Where did you read that? Shocked

I am either after 3, or 1, I'm not sure yet. Confused Depends on my brother, how much of an arse his work are about taking the time off, and how much of an arse he is willing to be in response to them if they say no.
