Hmmm.
Maybe I'm wrong, more research has just been done. They do appear to be following Eagles of Death Metal (Josh Homme's other band) and his missus's bands tour dates.
BUT the Radiohead doesn't have the gap when I went on the line up last night, so maybe it's already been filled. The only reason that makes me think that is, Rock En Seine's official site has Les Petits Pois playing there on Sunday 30th (which is Radiohead day in Reading).

I know- the gits.
Worst thing is I'm in Amsterdam on Saturday so a few days late for me. If it was Thurs or Fri, or possibly next Mon/Tues, I could have extended my trip there so I could go ![]()

Was annoyed yesterday as was waiting for the tour dates to come up all day and when they did they are only doing one northern one and it's right in the middle of my exams.
I made the decision that I was going to the gig anyway as I would rather see the gig, than be ACCA qualified (as I really couldn't give a s*** about that, I'm just stuck doing it because of stupid career choices at 15).
BUT
I've been saved overnight. The US dates have been announced and I have got myself a ticket for Springsteen in the Giants Stadium in October, so I should be able to work around and go see them there instead. BONUS!!!
The only problem is US pre-sale is tomorrow whereas UK one is 9am today, so I'm just hoping I'm okay getting US tickets.
Edit- Oh and forgot to say Juls, didn't see the message before. I did enjoy Amsterdam ![]()

I got Portsmouth and London so Im a very happy bunny
However would it be wrong of me to say Im jealous of the Sringsteen/TCV combo you are aiming for James?!? AT least if it doesnt work out tomorrow you can still get UK ones on Friday (I think you're right to say sod the exams just for once - you always miss stuff because of them!)

I still haven't worked out if I can do it as I'm short on holidays (luckily haven't wasted a single one this year, so not kicking myself about it).
Bottled getting uk tickets at 9am when I logged in, then after spending a while searching for flights etc.
Logged back in at 10am and tickets still on sale, so booked 2 for Blackpool.
Basically thought about it, it's a Sunday night, Blackpool is just over an hour away from Chester (where i'll be living at that point) so basically I can mooch at 17:30 and be back for midnightish, my exams are actually fri, tues, weds, so I'd probably stop cramming that day at 5ish anyway and if I'm driving no drink will be involved.
Although I'd love to add Boston and Crooked Vultures, I think it's going to take too much New York time off me.
Currently I without TCV- I get Tues evening, Weds, Fri and Sat in New York. Apparently the Boss gig takes up the whole day with queing systems and BRBQ's outside stadium etc.
If Boston is included, l get Weds evening, Fri and Sat in New York, then 4/5 hour train to Boston for gig, before flying home in the morning.
Think only 2proper days in New York is just a bit short to justify the whole trip, but it's not been ruled out yet ![]()

I managed to get 2 tickets for Hammersmith this morning

the MH link doesn't work, but further down someone has posted one which does.
I like QotSA, but this sounds like one of their "B-Sides", it doesn't rock at all ![]()
Seems like sometimes these "supergroups" or side projects miss the point. I thought sometimes artists like to do something they can't do in their main band, but rather than different, this is just IMHO not as good.
likewise Jack White's new other band was on Jools Holland, and it had a very obvious Raconteurs/White Stripes sound, but just wasn't as good as either of them. At least Raconteurs and White Stripes sound a bit different to each other.
