Its a covers album of some decent, some crap songs, in the style of johnny cash.

Your enjoyment of it will be directly related to how much you can appreciate another cover of personal jesus.

Is that mini enough or would you like a mark out of ten or something?

hmm.. we'd better get the 42 percent bloke in here.. I am sure he has some views on covers of DM songs.. personally, i can hear enough.
you have to love this though..
it makes me a bit sad.. but then, it is monday.

Johnny Cash is like a white Bob Marley. You can get those 8 disc compendiums from a petrol station and it all starts to merge into one after a while. At least this album is interesting in a 'Why the f*** would anyone cover a vera lynn song?' kinda way.

hmm. six aint bad, probably not worth the £10/six hour download.. you cant hate on the live at san quentin album though. .that is a classique..

Yeah. I think my Cash ambivalence comes from knowing an 'Indie DJ' who thinks the height of alternative is dropping some Cash after something like the Stone Roses.

There is only so many times you can hear a night finished off with 'Ring of Fire'......
