Beardyman's Essential Mix - aired on Radio1 22/1/12

Quote:
The legendary BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix is the most prestigious radio slot in the UK. Hosted by the legendary Pete Tong, it is a 2 hour mix by only the very top DJ's on the planet. . . and me. . hahaaaa.. . . I done a essential mix!!

and all without using a single pre-recorded track. . . yep. . thats right. . no records, no cd's, no mp3's nothing. . just plain old me and my plain old spaceship. . . making some plain old music, plain old live and in your plain old face. A mixture of covers re-interpretations, original songs, improvised jams and contiguous, morphing sections, this is a watershed moment for humanity. Keep off the grass.

Quite amazing what I've heard so far

funnily enough I wondered same thing, google soundcloud downloader turns up lots of hits, this extenstion for Chrome seems to work fine:

https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/ndmjkapccdjaajegggkopajaabdkjmag

I saw mention of Orbit Downloader, but I've never heard of that or used it, I also found a website, which lets you enter the url of a site like soundcloud, youtube etc, and it downloads the content. I also found various scripts and things to do it, but they're bookmarked on other computer, I can post them later if youwant, save you searching.
