has anyone got any experience with these, only looking to get a cheap set (headphone/mic with seperate volume for speaker/mic) i've seen them for around £30, but don't want to get them then find they are total crap compared to the more expensive ones,

not looking for miracles, just don't want it to be horrible sound quality etc.

thanks in advance Happy

I've not used one, but have seen various Blue Tooth headsets get mentioned on hotukdeals, usually the cheap ones seem to be fine for phone, but not PS3 Sad I guess they're just designed for simple mono voice rather stereo sound etc Sad

Also some of them rather than sound not being very high quality just don't work very well with PS3 Sad

Almost bought one a while back. My boss bought the 5.1 ones and reckoned they were ace, although for £150 I'd expect them to be!

Don't get enough time to play and use them these days Winking

Got a pair of these from Blockbusters http://www.amazon.co.uk/ORB-GP1-Gaming-Headset-PS3/dp/B004122XAS&tag=myrev09-21

Paid £29.99p for them, tho they are are on amazon for around £25,  obviously not going to really compare to the £80 sony surround ones i was looking at, but i have to say they work very well, the stereo separation is very usefull, got me a couple of kills against people trying to sneak up on me,  it's surprising how much more you hear, or maybe, it's just more noticable when the earcans are on, as theres nothing else distracting you ?   also, the mic is far better than the official sony bluetooth headset,  & there are volume adjusters for both volume & mic on the headphone cord...

not much else to say,  quite impressed,  certainly for the money, i'd say they where worth checking out if your looking for a "proper" headset..

thought i'd update this, firstly, i'm very happy with the quality of the headphones,  the bass is great,  the overall sound quality is excellent, when tho, when someone opens up on you with one of the meatier sounding guns,  it does tend to **** you up good style lol Happy

the only negative for me is the wire from the headphones is really beginning to **** me off,  & am probably going to save up for the sony wireless ones, or maybe pick some up second hand on fleabay..
