My dvd player/amp is acting up. On some films there is no sound from the centre speaker - others play are okay. These films played fine before. Anyone got any ideas

I'm not sure but I will check the encoding on the discs to find out. Thanks.

After making a quick check it seems that it is the DD discs that are not playing the centre channel. These were playing okay before. Any ideas?

The player and the amp are intergrated.

Maybe selected PCM audio for DD which if not set correctly, could cause this. You really need to look at what is displayed and try different surround modes to show which speakers are showing as active.
Is that the time? Damn you Xbox 360!!!!
