hi there

i am experiencing soundtrack slippage in lots of my recordings. is this likely to be the recorder/player being faulty?

it happens on downloads and recorded from TV?

I assume you mean lipsync errors? When you hear a person speak but the lips don't move at the same time.

This problem occurs throughout DVD player/recorder equipment - certainly not just with your Liteon. There are many contributary factors - disc compatibility, quality of downloads, burning method, audio connections, to name but a few.

Do the discs play back ok in an alternative player?

BTW, I trust you are a member of the Liteon forum?

If not, you really should be! Winking I hope to see you over there...

Well get yourself over to that forum and check out our "Tried & Tested Discs" threads - you could be using incompatible discs!

Plus you'll be surrounded by people using the same machines so they will be more able to assist. Winking
