Which sub £250 DVD recorder?

Mostly Harmless

I have been looking for a recorder (sub 250 if poss)...


Seen the E55 and the samsung R100...

i have telewest digital cable so will record the odd thing from there.. I dont think I will be recording alot of stuff.

If there is anything out there that could 'control' the Telewest Pace box??? Thats probs too much to ask??

All replies and advice... very very welcome!
