Pioneer 656 and Zooming

Mostly Harmless

Have recently bought a 656, very impressed with the picture etc. At the same time my brother purchased a 350.

Similar menus etc.

The one thing that does bug me is the zoom function.

On the 350, while playing, press zoom and it zooms in (still playing)

On my 656, I press zoom. It pauses! Zooms in. if I press play again it zooms out? (it does say it does this in the manual). I just dont see the point in having a zoom at all if it just does static pictures??
