Which DVD - Pioneer 656 or 717?

Mostly Harmless

The local HIFi shop is selling a 717 for 299... seen the 656 for similar money.

Which one would you recommend? Any views??

Bought a 656 this afternoon, 299 multiregion. Just plugged it in.. and WOW!

My past players have been a wharfdale 750, LG 5253 and Thomson 210u..

Just played +R and -R, region 1 and 2.. plus an RCE title. And I can actually see a better pic!! am happy now

Competent

I also own a 656 and it is wonderful - it plays everything I have put in it.

Highly reccomended.

My brother bought a 350 at the same time. Havent compared the two as yet. But I assume there will be a difference between them... apart from the 200quid one
