Black and white screen for L&G 3520

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody had experienced a black and white picture for region 1 disks on the L&G 3520 when using the remote hack recommended on thios site?, if so can anybody suggest how I can get colour?

Are you sure your TV accepts an NTSC signal... sounds like it doesn't ???

Or you could flick the switch on the back to PAL and then power off for 10 seconds.
