Panasonic Players or Recorders Cannot Be Hacked with the Handset Supplied with Them

Check this post on Methods of Achieving Region Free on Panasonic Players & Recorders

www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=368649

Have a good read of ALL the Posts

There will be a link to this Page on there

www.dcevolution.net/panasonic/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=32&Itemid=54

But Have a Good read of the Forum Thread ...There is a lot of Posts but also some Very good information on them

If you cannot see your actual player listed there is no point in asking "if your Player can be made Region free via the Methods covered on the Post" as the answer you will get is "Try the codes and you will find out"

If you think that the info contained in the Posts is too much for you to attempt then your ONLY other options (besides not bothering) is to use the Services of a "Chipping Company" ...a Google search will help you find one of those

Or a Panasonic Main Dealer

One thing I can confirm for Definite is that ALL Panasonic Players or Recorders Cannot be Hacked with the Handset Supplied with the Player...Not without some sort of Firmware Modification first...or with Extra help from a One For All Remote.

Hope this Helps

Hi there ratho,

Yes I can help.
I too have a panasonic dmr-ez25. I have a chipped handset that multiregions the player.
It is easy, point said remote at player press red button, wait a few minutes, job done.
You could borrow it for a week or so for £20 + a deposit

Rubbish!

Its physically impossible to hack a Panasonic only with a code entered by its own remote control. Fact!

If you did indeed "get the solution" and it was just with a code via the players handset (it wasn't!), then why are all your posts advertising that website, rather then posting what you actually did as claimed?

Seems like you are just spamming on here so posts reported.

You don't get your handset chipped, you buy, rent, or borrow a panasonic service remote which has the commands needed to make your unit multiregion (12 in total). The earlier posts mentioned in this thread would help, or just do a google search for panasonic chipped remote or similar.
