Mostly Harmless
I have a Wharfedale wmts-6801-5.1 dvd player and it is stuck on region 2 can anyone help make it multi-region.

sorry mate no hack for you....just whated to know what you though of this system....any good??? i'm thinking of getting one...did you get it from argos...on sale there at 120 quid....anyone better that price???

Hi Philip
I do like the system the sound is great and it looks cool, the only complaint i have is getting the hack to go multi-region. I got mine from Argos just before Christmas it was on offer at £99.99, i see it is back up to £120 i would recommend the system hope this was helpful.

Harmless
To convert Wharfedale WMTS-6801 DVD 5.1 Micro System to Multi-Region
1. Press the Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray
2. Press the 8 button on your remote control
3. Press the 1 button on your remote control
4. Press the 3 button on your remote control
5. Press the 2 button on your remote control
6. Press the 8 button on your remote control
7. Press the 7 button on your remote control
8. Press the 1 button on your remote control
The screen display will show the current Region Code
9. Repeatedly Press the Enter button until 9 is displayed which is multi region
( region 1, the 2 button for region 2, and so on, or the 9 button for multi-region playback)
10. Press the Open button on your remote control to close the drive tray
Player is now Multi Region
I did this and it worked First Time on mine
