Hi there,

Does anybody know if it is possible to region hack a PHILIPS BDP3100/05 BluRay player, I just want to play my region 1 DVD'S in the player?

Competent

The following works for several philips bdp models:-

1) With no disc in drive, bring the player out of standby.
2) press number keys "1389310"

Now enjoy a region free player.

1) No disc in tray

2) Press "HOME" key on remote control

3) Press numbers "1 3 8 9 3 1 0" on remote

Hello there, many thanks for posting region hack for Philips BDP3100, but do you think there is going to be also a Blu Ray region hack since I have a region B player and I just bough an THX certified DVD from America and it is region B.

Please keep me noted if you know anything!
