Tell me the number of your remote handset, i.e. AA59- blah blah blah. 8)

Hi,

I have the 17in version of the TV/DVD/VCR combi above, and am desperate for a hack for it.

Ive loads of region 1 discs sitting downstairs, waiting to be watched in bed!!!


my handset code is AA59-00324B

Try this.
1. Put tv in dvd mode and wait until "NO DISC" is displayed.
2. Press "RETURN" button on remote.
3. Press "7" then "7" then "PLAY" then "ENTER".
4. Something like this should appear.
Player Version : MB52~~~~~~~
MPEG Version : 0311~~~~~~~
Servo Version : 0303~~~~~~~
Code Version : 3. 1. 6. 5
Region Code : 1
0 1 2 3 4 5 6
Select : ENTER Exit : RETURN
5. Use the cursor keys to select the region you want (0 for region free)
6. Press "ENTER"
7. Press "RETURN"
