I bought this today - it is fab - apart from I cannot find a region crack either. The model is Audiologic P1430 - any help much appreciated
BTW - it plays MP3 and CD-Rs

I don't know 100% but looking at it, it looks very much the Roadstar 1437XT which is on the Remote Hackable part of this site.
This TV / DVD comes under many guises (Goodman's GTV14DVD, Goodman's GTV34DVD and Bush DVD142TV - all on this site listed as using same fix as Roadstar 1437).
Give it a go and then post back here if it works, so it can be added to the list

Hi there - Have tried both hacks for the Roadstar 1437XT as suggested - but does not appear to work 4 me!!! - Any other suggestions?

Hi... I my girlfriend bought me the same dvdtv combo from Asda for my birthday. It's brilliant for the bedroom.
I saw your message about the region coding... well there is a remote hack. I tried the ( Roadstar 1437XT remote hack ) and it worked first time. I tested Region 1 films on it : Like Mike, Gladiator, Titan A.E and Road to Pedition. All worked perfectly.
Just follow the instructions step by step and you cant go wrong.

This website is brilliant!
( Roadstar 1437XT remote hack ) and it worked first time. I tested Region 1 films on it : Like Mike, Gladiator, Titan A.E and Road to Pedition. All worked perfectly.

Note for JD SPINKS. You say the hack doesn't work for you... and someone esle says it does? I think I know the problem. Don't stand to close to the TV when keying in the buttons on the remote. It may sound crazy, but it happenned to me when I entered the hacks for the two 1437's. I have both models, one from year 2002 & 2003.

Thanks for this - I must be really really dense because it still not work. Could somebody give me advice on the TVD-1437XT hack - it says "Press the DVD Setup button on your remote control", and I cannot find this function - perhaps this is where I am going wrong!!!

The button is on the top right hand side of the remote. First switch the TV into the DVD mode (so you see DVD on screen). When you press the DVD setup button, this opens the page that lets you setup the lanugaues/subtitles etc. I take it you have the standard ugly black remote control. Not the best design of remote I have to say. If you can't do it, ask a friend. Sometimes another eye on these things really helps.
One other thing, if you have last years model of 1437XT, the '1999' hack on this site, is valid.
