Don't want to plug my site here (or create a post for everyone else to plug theirs), but I was just wondering if anyone here had their own website. After all theres been posts about where you live, occupation, holiday etc (maybe there should be a forum for nosey forum members to ask about each other!)
I used to run South Park Elementary which was quite successful (maybe somebody here saw it) but gave up on it two years ago. I won't post the URL as the domain name wasn't renewed and seems to have been purchased by a porn site!
I've decided to make use of my domain name I bought in January http://www.seanuk.net to place info and downloads for stuff tha intrest me.
So what have you all done to give yourself a precence on the net?

Cool website (especially liked the download material : playing as I write this !)
My website is http://www.area450.com and is frequently mentioned here. A real worldwide site, it caters for owners of DVD players made by a huge Taiwan corporation called Sampo.
In addition to stuff about every player made by the company (including the infamous "no-name" clones like the Reoc A5, Wharfedale M5 and Encore DV450 and famous "name" clones like the Sharp DV740), there's articles on the mad things we do to our players (like attaching IDE hard disc drives, yes really !).
The site was originally launched in Jan 2001 as a homage to the Encore player (the "450" part of Area 450), but has escalated madly since then (1500 unique visitors a day for a personal website : madness I tells ya). It's put me in touch with loads of new people around the world, and we now have a really tight crew of people working on the site round the clock.
I love running a website, and it doesn't cost me hardly anything either.
Mine is at http://www.robertsworld.org.uk although its not finished, but much more finished than it used to be. ![]()
Even my dog has one at http://www.minna.robertsworld.org.uk which actually is finished but could do with more recent pictures. ![]()
Well I have a very small site, just a few pics of family, places etc. And one of me on the main page. http://www.sashenden.freeserve.co.uk

Ooooh, go on then....
I've recently started doing a website for a coupla friends who've started a business, so they'll probably appreciate the free plug. bear in mind that it's not working properly, as its a work in progress - tis a bit buggy, esp if you have ie5. http://www.dance4mepromotions.com
If anyone likes it and wants me to do something similar for them, cheap, then follow the link on the page! (shameless plug I know, but hey, we've got to make a living somehow, and Clayts gets to plug his site all the time!!! - only joking fella
))
Bb
I just bought this URL on sunday to put my CV on.
http://www.rossbowman.info
There's a small quiz there at the moment while I finish my CV off.
Here's my effort.
http://www.watsonianshockeyclub.co.uk
It's for the hockey club I play for. Attracts visitors from all over the world judging by some of the e-mails I receive!
F**k you all!

Have to agree with sparkster.
I think that the contents of many of your web sites proves conclusively that 'care in the community' simply isn't working.
