Happy 12th Chris and a belated 10th Pat Happy

Did something really exciting happen 10 years ago here?  There seems to be a lot of 10th birthdays lately!

Not sure.
A lot of members first came here looking for a multi region hack, but I know that wasn't the reason I first came here.
I had a chip fitted to my first dvd player, (a Sony) to make it multi region.
The player cost me £300 & the chip £100.
When I got it, there ware only something like 30 dvd's available, & every title cost at least £20.
Funny thing is, I can't remember what my first disc was. I think it might have been Flubber but I can't say for sure.

I now have around 2500 titles. (& Flubber isn't one of them)

Last week I saw a dvd player in Tesco for £18.........

I must be pushing my 10 year this year.

My account says 2004, but that either means I used to have a previous account or I was just a lurker and never posted.  I'm sure it was 2002 I first started coming here though, because it was when I was in the university.

Scary to think how long ago that was.

I never came for a hack or anything, although I think my at the time fella found you looking for one...I found you after getting sucked into some of the slightly more wierd threads there were when I first appeared!
