Unless WD bought the rights, I wonder if Factory will sue?

I imagine if the boot was on the other foot those Americans wouldn't think twice.

Your missing a few words there...

"Yes. Well you see, every time they give me an order I just want to jump on a table and scream!"

My outlook on life is positive & carefree, I'm positive that I'm a pessimist & I don't care what what you think.

Never has so little had to be explained by me to so many so often.

I don't think they can, I'm sure this type of image isn't specific to Joy Division even if it might be synonymous with an album cover. Pretty sure I've seen that sort of thing in more scientific areas.

After a quick look on wikipedia, I very much doubt it.

The front cover image comes from an edition of the Cambridge Encyclopedia of Astronomy, and was originally drawn with black lines on a white background.[6] It presents successive pulses from the first pulsar discovered

Seems he "borrowed" the image from somewhere else himself.

Ah well, I suspect he may have gotten inspiration for a lot of his iconic artwork from elsewhere...
