One of the main points that seems to be being missed in all the initial rampage is the arrest warrants were only partially about copyright infringement. The rest of the charges included racketeering and money-laundering.

The white house epetition to have Chris Dodd investigated for bribery and corruption had already reached the required 25,000 signatures in order for it to be discussed in Congress.

Sony may have just inadvertently contributed to the pocketbook of a hacker collective affiliated with last year's traumatic PlayStation Network outage. In a blog post today, Atari Teenage Riot member Alex Empire revealed that the band has donated money earned through a licensing deal with Sony to Anonymous-affiliated website FreeAnons.org.
