I can't really think of any reason why this crow would be doing this, other than for fun. And I can't think why it would do it for fun if it wasn't the reincarnation of a human.

We have Crows that take monkey nuts from the ground & go onto our garage roof (Much the same as the one in the picture) then while holding the monkey nut with their feet open up the case with their beak, so I'm guessing the crow here thinks the ring thing is food.
Much as Paull says.
I don't think it's Great Aunt Agatha snowboarding.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was.
Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's 'it' seems weird and scary
I believe in reincarnation on fruit, but it tastes awful in tea.

Clever yes, but the bird is only after one thing and thats food, it thinks its food, you can see its beak trying to get at it..
Have you never seen birds dancing on the ground thumping one foot after the other up and down. That actually makes worms think its raining and come up to the surface, and its kaput for the worm.

But you'd have a helluva fight with the RSPCA over it.
