Signed up to the Primus Saver broadband and phone service at the start of the month moving from talktalk. Not heard a dicky bird from Primus since signing up then yesterday my broadband went down and now I.find myself back on a BT line still without BB? Been in touch with Primus to ask WTF is going on but no word as yet. I was always under the impression that the transition was seamless when changing supply. Is this the norm or are they dicking me about? Can't handle internet on my poxy Hero....

Did you give them a MAC code?
If not then I believe the process is cancel existing supplier then re-enable for new supplier basically meaning you get the 1 month termination cycle followed by the original 2 to 3 week set up cycle you had for the initial Broadband setup on your line.

I went from AOL to O2 in about half an hour, they sent a date, I waited, phone line went down for about 5 minutes, Broadband went off for about 20, then it all came back on. Simplez.

Thanks for the info Jim. A MAC code wasn't mentioned once in the signup procedure and never really crossed my mind. Seems like one has been shafted!!

Harmless

You couldn't have picked a worse company!

Have a look at their Facebook page. Look for postings by Andrew Webber, says it all!

Jesus, some shocking stories there!

I'm thinking I should check my rights to cancel and return to talktalk!
