You know what really grinds my gears? Pricks on eBay...

Had a guy buy a dvd set off me last week, he sent payment through the post - received on 15th, posted item on 16th second class (don't get me started on their rules of max £1.25 to post a dvd box set...) as stated in the auction by eBay as taking 6 - 8 working days for delivery (plus it's nearly Christmas!).

Tosspiece emails me this today (it's been 3 working days since posted):
HI , IVE BEEN WAITING FOR ITEM TO COME IN THE POST NOW AND ITS NOT TURNED UP ATALL. SO ALL I CAN SAY IS PLEASE CAN YOU REFUNED ME MY MONEY BACK IN THE POST PLEASE.

Had to grit my teeth and go back with a friendly reply but seriously how ****ing stupid are some eBay users!?

Ebay does seem to attract spectacularly stupid people.
For example, I was looking at an item last week.
It's readily available in a large chain of shops for £30.
Anyway, I set my max bid to £27 and left it.
I didn't win it, but noticed the winning bid was £54....!
I then found another one for Buy-it-Now £20.
What the hell was the person paying £54 thinking, other than "you're not beating me bidbidbidbidbid"
Morons.

Ha ha yeah seen that many a time too, even funnier when it's a second hand one they've won when they could have bought a brand new one much cheaper!

There's some people who just (for some unknown reason) head straight to ebay for anything and everything...even when Amazon has it cheaper. It's like they don't know anything else exists on the Internet.

I head to ebay for lots of things, but that doesn't mean I don't check what they are worth first.

I listed some shoes for my brothers gf, said UK only, get emailed by people asking if I'll ship to France, no, UK only. Winning bidder? In France, using a fake UK address that doesn't exist, asked if I would ship to France.

Ebay needs to allow sellers to leave negative feedback to buyers again.
