This looks quite funny, seems a straight up film like his Ali G movie rather than Borat/Bruno.

Never understood the attraction of this guy.
He's about as funny as waking up in the morning and finding out you have flu and you need to go to work.

And Borat was the biggest pile of mince I saw in about the last 15 years.

The hotel chase scene in Borat is one of the funniest things I've seen in a movie. Happy

Loved Ali G and Borat. Didn't get Bruno at all. Yeah, that made me smile - I'll rent it on Lovefilm!

Like the look of this. Laughed out loud at the race scene.

In related news, Kazakhstan thanks Borat movie for increasing tourism after initially banning it:

Quote:
But now Kazakhstan's foreign minister has said he is "grateful" to Borat for "helping attract tourists" to the country. He said 10 times more people were applying for visas to go there.

Though it isn't all sunshine and roses...

Quote:
Just last month Kazakhstan lodged a formal complaint with the Olympic Committee of Asia after a spoof national anthem from Borat was played at a sports event in Kuwait by mistake.
Which reminds me of a scene from The Dish, which I won't spoil because it's a great gentle Australian comedy that everyone should see and enjoy.

The Dish is a classic film. I would recommend it to anyone.
Sam Neills character is a work of genius.

Have seen (suffered) his previous films at friends house, but never really liked the humour, found them rather crude and even discusting in places. Had the occasional laugh, but not enough to say I enjoyed them.

But, after saying that.....There must be a market for this stuff if they have made yet another 'micky taking character' in the semi-documentary style of film.

(oh, that sounded real camera tech speak )

I will likely see this one, when back at friend, he seems to like them. I don't.
