Question for the "I only use the general forum" regulars
posted by Rob Shepherd on Friday, 2nd December 2011, 17:21

Super Admin

So I've always wondered this, whenever I see people who say "I never go into forum X or forum Y", it always confuses me a little bit, mainly because I tend to use the All Forums view when I'm looking at threads to read.

Do you guys just never do that? Or do you have the General forum bookmarked?

I do have the general forum in my bookmarks, as it's always my first destination, and from there I'll pop to the other forums.

That said, I've probably never visited anything below gaming and consoles since 2000

Sorry, can't answer that...I always use the "All forums" view.

I always come to the all forums first, but the first thread I read tends to be in the general forum, so when I click the return to threads button, it takes me to the general forum, and most of the time, I kind of forget the others exist!

I have a nose through them every now and again, but not regularly tbh.

Hadly ever use the other forums, as I never get any response on them if I start a thread, for example rush out and buy this DVD deal at store X now, and I get zero response with the sound of brushwood blowing in the wind.

They are like the equivalent of 'eurovision with null points'
