SWMBO wants one... its her birthday in a fortnight then comes christmas, are they worth it, she reads quite a lot, what are the options?

Tesco have then at £89 which seems to be the going rate looking online, a mate who works in an electrical retailer, reckons they are flying out the door, and their company are already trying to source from abroad as current sales mean they will be out of stock in two weeks?

There was a thread on this not so long ago.  I love mine and if it broke I'd buy another one tomorrow.

Great screen that can be read outdoors in the sun no problem.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was.
Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's 'it' seems weird and scary

Does she not have a smart phone that could take the Kindle app?
I love it on my iphone.
IMO absolutely no need for me to get a Kindle device, even for reading in bright sunshine.
Kindle app is free!
