Well, finally we are expecting after many years of trying...
So we decided instead of expensive gifts this year we would limit to £50 on a main present...
...but I don't know what to ask for. The wife is stuck for ideas for me :S
I have all I need really... What do you get the boy who has everything?
What do you lot think?
I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which i'm dying are the best i've ever had.

First off, big congratulations from me!
My wife and I tried for 6 years before... we got a little help... and our little beauty was born.
As for Christmas, your wife is going to give you the best present ever (next year I assume)...so why not suggest a joint present that will benefit you both (or something for the baby).
Cheers guys - i've not been much of a poster on here in the past few months (maybe couple of years) but have been keeping up with all you lot's news. So saw your fab news Miles ![]()
Football strip is ready and waiting to go...we need all the Spurs recruits we can!
I still have no idea what to do. The wife is insistent she wants to get me something...
I would be happy for it to go on baby.
What's everyone else getting? buying? hoping for?

congratulations
as for gift ideas, how about ticket to a gig/comedy show/play, some other kind of event which is quite expensive so you might not normally justify the expense in going?
A couple of years ago my joint birthday and Christmas present was All Tomorrows Parties at minhead to see Melvins and Fantomas amongst others, this year similar thing to see Slayer, Mogwai, Melvins, Mudhoney and others

I always wanted a new Black MK2 Mercedes SLK convertable for Xmas since it came out seven years ago as it is just beutifull looking in the metal, but unless we get the Lottery up, theres no chance.
Now my dream is shattered for a new car as Mercedes has now moved onto this month to the MK3 facelifted Mercedes SLK and gave it a one hellish butch looking grille at the front and ruined what was the sleekest looking of cars
Anyway, I can always buy secondhand someday, some Xmas
Ooh congratulations Gav!
What about socks?
