Yes, its a good series, with just a bit too much X rated stuff, but the storyline is good, and I do like the dwarf prince who due to his determintion to survive creates a lot of humerous moments.
The new series is due just after the repeats end, and we will see more magical and mystical stuff with the dragons and the ice wraiths from the north attacking the ice wall barrier.

Best new series I've seen for years, and from listening to the first book very faithful. Thought there wasn't too much X rated stuff at all, but maybe because in comparison to say Gladiator: Blood and the Sand it's Blue Peter.
Also loved the dwarf prince, thought the actor stole every scene he was in.

season 2 will begin in April 2012.Woohoo, I'll be looking out for that! Haven't enjoyed anything on TV so much in years, and that includes Doctor Who!
Bloody hell is it that long away, was going to watch the repeats so have seen it before season 2, but might leave it until March next year, so it leads straight in to the new series.

April 2012, what a wait
I was sure I saw a trailer on Sky for the new series coming soon, but must have got mixed up with a magazine article I read about it, discusing the forthcoming dragons and ice wraiths.
Never seen Gladiator to compair sex scenes, not allowed to, re: the dangers of a having a wrathfull wife !

Think BE is on Saturday and BB is soon.
