My new horror web series - BloodyCuts.co.uk

Hi guys, me again.

We had some great support on here a few months back with our Sci-Fi 48hr film "2 Years of Summer", and it really helped myself and fellow team members to spend a bit more time dabbling in film.

Anyway, I've concocted an idea for a new web-based horror series, called "Bloody Cuts", which is basically an anthology of self contained 2-3 minute films. However in doing so I've realised that the cost of a project like this is far beyond what we can afford out of our own pockets.

So we've created a Proposal to aid us in the search for funding, a website to keep everything in one place (www.bloodycuts.co.uk) and a Pilot episode. We have plans for 'getting it out there', including IndieGoGo, but initially we're looking for this pilot to aid us in our quest to bring these mini-horrors to an internet audience.

ANYWAY (thanks for bearing with me) I'm proud to present our pilot episode. Cost us £30 to make (for pizzas to feed us in the evening) and was filmed and edited in roughly a day and a half.

If you could find it within yourselves to click on the link and give the film a watch, or at the very least run it in the background, I'd really appreciate it immensely. It'll really help to push the film along and (hopefully) help with getting us funding in the long term. Even better, you could stick it on Facebook, or Twitter about it too. Every click counts!

Cheers guys! Please feel free to fire any questions my way! Happy

10/10 for visual style, editing, and for setting a very eerie mood, but 3 minutes 35 wasn't enough time to tell the story you wanted to tell, I think. It's a good benchmark for your capabilities though

Done and crapbooked. I'm pretty picky about who I confirm as friends on there so not got many (lol) but every click helps...right?

Ooh, I enjoyed that. I'll face book it for you, although I doubt more than 2 or 3 of my friends will bother clicking it. Never mind, every click counts.

Edit: Out of interest, Ben, why haven't you uploaded the movie you did for the competition to the Bloody Cuts website, seeing as you refer to it in the "About" section?

Thanks! I think we were trying to avoid muddling things too much, and hopefully if people are intrigued it won't take them long to find 2 Years of Summer. Plus we used the same actor and I also didn't want us to seem too limited.
