Don't know if she had been ill, but just read the Elisabeth Sladen has passed away this evening.

This is the second piece of genuinely upsetting news I've heard this week.  Lis Sladen was an adolescent crush for me.  My favourite Doctor Who companion.  I'm in shock after this one, and I thought I'd been poleaxed after hearing about double-dip Bond Girl Angela Scoular's passing last week (apparently at her own hands).

I know a lot of people get sniffy about celebrities' deaths, but when somebody passes who's been a familiar part of your life for years, you've got to feel something.

RIP both ladies, and my sympathies to Lis' husband Brian and daughter Sadie, and Angela's husband Leslie (Phillips) and her son Daniel.

Sad Sad Sad

The Whoniverse is a lot smaller for her & Nick Courtneys passings - RIP Liz

My outlook on life is positive & carefree, I'm positive that I'm a pessimist & I don't care what what you think.

Never has so little had to be explained by me to so many so often.

I just heard about Lis' death this morning. Apparently she had cancer, I didn't know. Absolutely gutted over this one.

Very sad news RIP. SJA was that rarest of things, a quality kids drama that us big kids could really enjoy without feeling short-changed. And as for School Reunion, one of my favourite episodes from the reign of 10.

Forza Ferrari, Felipe & Fernando !!

Go Vale Go.....The Doctor....G.O.A.T. !!
