His full bits here, just his bits. It's quite funny how clearly irked some of the people he ribbed got about it all. American's really don't like being mocked do they.

It'll be interesting to see if they ask him back next year. Most of the celebrities he introduced seemed to take it in good humour.

I saw some of these on AOL the other day and tbh, he came across to me as an arse.
I couldn't see the humour in most of what he was saying, it just came over as having a dig at those coming on to present, whether justified or not, and not what he should have been doing as the introductions.

As a matter of fact, the only thing that made me smirk was his "Don't look at it" visual joke for Hefner, and even then I think it was the audience reaction I found funny.

Just look when Steve Carell walks on stage and the reaction to this sad little man.

Maybe I'm just an old fogey but my impression of Gervais is someone who managed to get out something funny and thinks if he says it's funny then it is, and if you don't then tough **** cos you know nothing.

Still, it's gotta lotta people talking Grinning

Nice to see the Brits doing the bashing rather than being bashed

Carrell and Gervais at the Golden Globes was so set up and rehearsed it was painful. As painful as I found the Office the quarter time that I watched it.

I liked it - ok So RG is a bit grating now - but I like the yanks getting some bashing.
Plus SC and RG are good pals - so def set up.

I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad
