A quick reminder for people to read the forum rules
posted by Rob Shepherd on Friday, 10th September 2010, 14:20

Super Admin

There is a link on every page, if you think your posts might be borderline falling fowl of them, might be a good idea to refresh your memories.

Getting passionate about things and losing your mind temporarily, providing you calm down afterwards, that will get forgiven. Being constantly abusive, or trolling, that will get you banned.

These forums should be a nice friendly place that passers by look at and think, that looks a good spot to hang out. I really don't want them to become a small nasty bitter clique that points at passers by commenting on their weight. If you get the analogy. Happy

does this "trolling" really go on?

i think in general 98% of the regular posters tend to stick within
the boundaries anyway.

i know i try to!

tbh, if there's a topic that i read that winds me up, i tend to ignore
it and don't ever bother making a comment. that's why you will never
see me posting in any religious / racist threads.

no, just less regulars than before, or less "emotional ones".

I haven't been on for ages as the proxy at work really struggled with the site for some reason.  On occasion when I did have a read it was a lot more niggly than it used to be but it seems better now.

RJS, I can't resist this, "falling fowl"?  Cluck, cluck, cluck Happy
