About to make a leap of faith into world of personal bankruptcy and wondered if anyone here had done it.

Long story short, me and girlfriend got into trouble and ended up un debt management for two years. Then we were informed we should have been in iva and so one was sorted for us. Its bern two years in iva (so four in total) during which time secind child was born, girlfriend got post natal had work hours cut then she became unemployed.

She's moved yi brum with kids and as a temp measure our monthly iva payment was dropped by 66%. They now want it back to what it was despite me earning no more (no payrise or bonus in two years) and her on benefits. Told them couldnt afford it so they disagreed and defaulted us. Kinda relieved in a way, I know bankruptcy isn't the holy grail but ut us an out for us frim our struggles.

Questions are, does it reflect on address as I'm renting a room and dont want to screw landlord, and can it be refused?



It matters not what happens in life, ive met the Mighty Bruce and my life is complete.
