Anyone else on here using the RunKeeper site (found it via another forum member).
Or trying to get a bit more motivation to pound the streets?

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was.
Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's 'it' seems weird and scary

I had it on my phone and it told me that when I did a site patrol I walked 1.2 miles.  That is all I did with it though.

I am going running but don't carry anything but the nano and a water bottle so can't use any of these things. They look quite good, but I judge my improvement by how much less I am dying each time I go.

I'm not carrying anything either. Just plotting the routes and entering a run in, with time, when I do one.
Plotting the routes before I go out is the most useful feature for me. Saves having to drive round in the car to get an idea what distance I've done.

There are loads of sites if you just want to plot your running route.

If you've got a gps phone, this is (potentially) very good, though not used it a great deal myself. Works with most flavours of phone.

I've been using Runkeeper on my iphone for a few months now, and was really pleased with it until the last IOS4 update. Since then I've found the gps signal drops out at an annoying rate.
Fantastic, and accurate when it does work though Winking
