Pratt on a motorbike (learner kid), do I report him?

Kid pulls off the main high street into the one way (going the correct way) side street to use bank cashpoint. Except he drives up onto and along the pavement, sits on his bike while withdrawing cash , then turns around on the pavement and drives back along the one way road and back onto the high street. As he drives off I see his L plate, didnt notice one on the front. Makes me think he has got his license, got a bike and become the cockiest little **** the world has known and thinks the law doesnt apply to him. Worth reporting? Or just sacrifice a lamb to a pagan god and pray for his cumuppence?

Didn't think you had to have a L plate on the front of the motorcycle. But I'd report the fecker for mounting the pavement.

EDIT: Just read up on the fact that you do have to have L plates front & rear.

report him, info marker will be placed on him at very least, is there cctv in the area, if so ensure the police view it, and ask for an update on what they actually did?

Ryno, I don't think anyone is saying he should be arrested and sent down. Winking Just the incident recorded and waved in his face so he maybe considers what he did was not a good thing, and not to do it again.

Police can still give official warnings or whatever they are called still can't they?

I live near a forest and kids driving scramble bikes around it, at best destroying the peace, at worst putting dogs, children and people at risk. Drives me mad that they get away with it time and again.

Sorry big difference between the twits you mention on the scramblers and a kid (we are assuming him/her to be a kid here may be a 45 yr old woman !!) on the scooter

it's all a bit daily mail for me "reporting" such minor things and yep i was once that "kid" on a ped and yep 9 times out of 10 i had no front or rear L plate doesnt mean i had no licence etc they fall off / get nicked / wash off after a while and yep as a biker i still ride up to cashpoints now Happy

i hope that by the 99% stance of this thread most of you will report drivers who dont indicate/park wrongly/have illegal type number plates on their vehicles cos thats what your getting into here Sad and dont get me started on the old/infirm/fat n lazy on those highly illegal electric carts when they are on the road without tax/mot/insurance

the police pick on all road users enough without this !!!
