depends, I like good tattoos but I dislike bad tattoos. Dont have any myself though

Depends on the tattoo and the wearer, personally.  Myself, I remain unblemished except for an accidental tattoo when I stabbed myself in the thumb with a biro aged three-and-a-bit.  I still have the mark, just above the knuckle of my left thumb.

A discrete tattoo can be very attractive, but tattoos are a case of less is more - a small tattoo at the nape of the neck, the base of the spine or an ankle f'rinstance.  I'd love to meet a girl called Lydia with a tattoo so I could regale her with the tale of Lydia The Tattooed Lady (See Groucho Marx in At The Circus or Virginia Weidler in The Philadelphia Story:  )

I'm afraid I'm going to be sexist though as I'm not keen on them on ladies.
