Or is it a broken page at the mo?
I can browse to a Jpeg for me avatar but it doesn't give the option to finish uploading.
Doesn't preview either but if I drag it into the box below the "browse" line it displays in a new page for me as a preview.

Hitting "upload avatar" again resets the page.

Or am I doing it wrong...?

<edit> Oh, and forgot to say, the preview box shows on IE but not on FF Sad <editoff>

Sort of mentioned here:

Although I was referring to the Javascript object-expected error I was getting in IE8.

Don't see the preview either in FF.

That's not a preview box, it's the upload box, IE insists on adding a border that I haven't got around to removing with CSS properly.

It should work on Firefox already, just weeding out the IE issues atm.

Tested and working under Firefox 3.6 and IE8, should work for everything else now too.

Worked for me using Firefox

I've only just converted to the new site (I normally hate even the slightest change), but so far it seems pretty cool.

Liking the new message editor!

Still won't work for me.
FF 3.0.18.

I get the browse button, find the pic but there's nothing for me to finish off with, you know an "OK" or "finish" etc.
And nothing happens when I double click or hit open on the picture, it just adds the location into the browse box as I expect it should.

It automatically uploads the file, there is no OK or Submit button.

If you wait a little while it should display either a success or failure message underneath (if you choose a massive picture it might take a while to upload, I'm guessing?)

Adblock plus is stopping it.
Turned it off to check it and off it went.

Now I have big yellow "blocking ads hurts us" pictures that makes me feel like I'm dipping Mr S's wallet Confused

adblockplus didn't stop my avatar uploading (it's nto a picture of me btw)

Afterwards after seeing the "nag" advert placeholders, I turned it off, looked at a few posts and turned it back on.

If there weren't so many ads, and they weren't so in your face it wouldn't be so bad.
