T mobile

Is anybody else a T Mobile customer and what is their experience of the customer service from this company.

I have three mobiles with this company (Mine and two daughters) and they are consistently totally bl**dy useless.

In the past I have been promised a replacement phone for one that had ceased to be. Four days and by four different people I was promised that it would arrive the following day and to have the old one ready to return, nothing arrived. Eventually took it into one of their shops where they said it could be repaired and be back in a week. Got it back about a month later.

Recently my daughter has been abroad three times this year once on the family holiday.
First hol phoned T Mobile to confirm roaming switched on "Yes sir thats done for you"
Didn't work and phone calls afterwards they swore it was down to the service provider in the other country.

Second holiday phoned them again as this time it was the family holiday and I needed to check mine had roaming authorised. They confirmed that both had been switched on.
You guessed it, neither worked.

Rang to complain as she was due away again a week or two later.
"I'm sorry sir roaming hasn't been switched on for this phone I'll do it now for you" once I stopped fuming at them the only excuse was that the person I spoke to was a trainee.

Third time, different country, still no use and they again swear that it was the fault of the service provider in the other country.

Is it me, have I stood under a ladder and thrown a black cat through a mirror ?

I should mention that my lads phone with O2 which came on the family hol, one call, "all done sir" worked perfectly.

I think Orange should reduce their offer considerably as they, as well as T Mobile are off my list of future service providers.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was.
Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's 'it' seems weird and scary

I don't know what will happen to operators like Virgin and Tesco as I believe they use the T Mobile network. I guess they'll carry on but have better coverage?

When Orange and Tmobile merge will that have any effect on Orange Wednesdays?

AFAIK Tesco are on O2
TBH, have hardly had any issues with O2 Customer Services any time i've spoken to them, usually only minor quibbles.

Vodafone on the other hand are worse than a man short.
(but still have the best mobile BB offer for me lol)

Been with Orange for nigh on 9 years now (Everyday 50), PAYG with them for 18 months beforehand.

Not looking forward to surrendering the contract when the last "upgrade" contract term expires.

Canada\US mobile phones are bloody expensive to run by comparison ie you pay to receive calls (by the minute), activation fee's, monthly service fees & 911 fee's.

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you’ve noticed.) You don’t normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

Had the same problem with fecking Virgin last year while in Vegas - left them as they really added stress to an already stressful time as the wifes father passed away when we were over there. Swore to myself I will never ever use Virgin again for anything.

For those using international roaming/calls, dunno if this might apply.
Saw an advert on the side of a bus yesterday for an O2 simcard that's apparently aimed at international calling and it's PAYG?

Ad was along the lines of "free international minutes when you top up an O2 "My(cant remember the second bit, myworld or summat) Sim"
