Hi All,
Off to London for a short break next week with my wife. Looking at stuff to see and do, is the Leicester Square Odeon worth the money (the main screen)? I think its showing Dorian Gray...
Cheers,
J.
Only been there once, me and mate went to London for the day and saw Terminator 2 there as my mate was a huge Terminator fan. We had to buy the tickets from a tout...
It was ok, probably be nice for an evening out with the missus and has undoubtedly changed a lot since then.

I liked it too, but I've only been once and that was years ago.
I recall some sort of laser show before the film.
May have been the early 1990's, so it's maybe no better than any other cinema now.
Not in my opinion.
Admittedly the last time I went was to see AvP (only because I went with my mate who did the uncloaking effect right at the end)
Seats were uncomfortable, screen quality wasn't great and it cost me £13 just for the ticket.
Just a thought, but if you're going to Leicester Square, why not try the theatre ticket booths situated there?
You might get two cheap tickets to a show that night. 8)
Worth a go before you visit a cinema that's arguably no better than the one down your road.

Is it worth it? No. You're just charged a premium because it's where a lot of the premieres are held, and the fact that it's on Leicester Square. It's a decent cinema, but not worth additional fee by any means.
You're better off spending the money on a 3D film at the iMAX.
