Not sure, but it says few episodes in January and then return in early March, so could be 4-5weeks.
Edit- Saying that

ABC announced on Thursday (Nov. 19) that "Lost" will kick off its last season on Tuesday, Feb. 2 with a two-hour premiere from 9:00-11:00 p.m. ET.
The two-hour premiere is titled "LA X."
"Lost" will then move into its regular 9 p.m. Tuesday time period the following week with an episode titled "What Kate Does."
This will put "Lost" head-to-head with NBC's coverage of the Winter Olympics for a chunk of February, defying the industry's conventional wisdom to steer clear of the figure skating and luging.

I've started a bit late with my rewatching Lost so don't think I'll make it through all 5 seasons before season 6 starts, but just watching the first episode now and
The pilot in the crash in the pilot episode (hmmm no other way to say that really
) is Matt Parkman in heroes, as never watched that episode back and he's only in it for all of 4mins I'd never realised that.

I've avoided anything spoilerish but further to post above "Matt Parkman" is actually reprising his character for the final season of Lost, so good spot by me otherwise I'd just have thought they'd recast ![]()
Also until rewatching I'd never realised that the waitress who gave Jack a drink in the plane in first episode was then one of the "tailies" who got abducted on season 2 which lead to Anna Lucia shooting Shannon and is also shown as one of the Others in season 3 when Jack etc are in the cages. Which is good for the idea that there is continuity right through the show and they have an idea of what they were doing since the beginning.

Anyway I disgress from the ramblings above, the real reason I posted was for this.
It's a fan video showing what happened when the plane crashed in the style of 24. Really well done and is probably a good reminder for a lot of stuff put together.
I know I seem like a ludicrous Lost fan that spends hours searching theories, but basically I don't read anything on the net about it for risk of spoilers and stuff like this I come across through the Dark Horizons news page.
All other stuff I've posted is just because I've been watching through from season 1 to remind myself of all the stuff that had previously happened. Have forgotten loads!

I was glad that before last season started on Sky, the showed the last couple of episodes, with captions along the bottom, saying things like
"that's a reference to some-one who did something or other". Didn't stop the missus and I pausing it on occasion, and asking "who is he?, why don't like they like each other any more?" etc ![]()
