listed some stuff on fleabay, one of the items was my tp-link 300mb router, & ebay removed the listing for breaching t&c's, i looked back through the listing to see what they didn't like & couldn't see anything wrong, looked back through the email telling me they removed it & there reaseon was "spamming" Confused apparently spamming was me using the term

"as new"

in the listing. thing is, it is as new, & i still put it under the section "used" & clearly stated that i'd used it for a while Confused is i me or are they nuts

it does seem a bit silly, but I guess you could argue, it's another example of them protecting the seller, after complains of ppl receiving items advertised "as new" which clearly aren't.

i.e. other sellers abusing the system. if I see something adverted "as new" i expect it to be fairly new, in a1 condition, all packaging, manuals etc

I'm not suggesting you do, but others think "as new" = "working" Sad

Mostly Harmless

But doesn't 'as new' mean just that, 'as new' meaning it's 'as new' but not quite new.
I was selling some DVD's on preloved and said in my ad that I had 'copies' of so-and-so and whathaveyou etc etc and they blocked my ad because they thought they were copies.
