Me and the other half got up this morning to find we have been burgeld during the night. Sash window in the lounge had been bust open and they had some stuff away. TV, money box thing, some booze, my high viz vest???, my wallet (no money or cash cards but driving and fork lift licence's) some works papers and my van keys. (van is still there at the moment) I know we have got off lightley, they left neary £4000 worth of Hi-Fi. But I am still fuming. I really hope the next time they shoot up it is with an AIDS infected needle and that the death is slow and painfull.

Not joking, you better watch out. 
Get the locks/ignition on the van changed asap, and get anti-burglary stuff fitted to the window.
You get these cheap little alarms from B+Q
If the window is opened, all hell breaks loose (100+ decibels)
The sight of you running through, in your pants, with a golf club?
That would see me off.
PS, you do have contents insurance....tell me you do.....

We know they may come back. Luckily I took the blipper off my keys so they did not know what vehicle it was of it would have been gone. I am going to take a wheel off till I can get the locks done. Bloody computerized reprogramming, means I am going to get robbed twice. We will review the security post haste. Unfortunatly with my finacial problems at the mo insurance was a no go. Silly I know, but a calculated risk till I get back on my feet.

PS, Do you know for sure you don't have contents cover?
Many policies, these days, chuck it in with the buildings cover.
You must have buildings cover, as it's part of your mortgage requirement.

Doc, as always anything I can do give me a call/text
Get that Van up on bricks and as someone said given they now know what is in the downstairs area grap some form of alarm systems for the entry points
I always keep my keys, phone and wallet in the same room as me
I;ve known people leave keys in a downstairs room (kitchen) and ge tup in the morning to find both of the cars owned have walked during the night.
