Hi guys,
The spring in my driver's-side seatbelt has gone, meaning that it won't pull back into it's place when I'm not wearing it. The car is a Citroen Saxo Desire 1.1, from 2002, and Citroen want nearly £300 to fix it. I am not up for that!
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to look for one, perhaps online? I'd have no problem with a second-hand seatbelt if the price was right. I've tried various dumps/skips etc at the suggestion of a mechanic I know, but with no luck.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks!

Tried them all in the area and they said they'd have nothing for a car as new as 2002.

Try these - you need to register and you'll probably get updates from them for ages but they found me stuff for my HRV when I didn't want to pay dealer prices on a window motor.

They want £154 + VAT + labour.

The trouble with buying a used seatbelt is that you don't know its history.
If it's come from a crashed car then it stands to reason it's already had to restrain someone from a major impact already.
it could be stretched and weakened, the restraining mechanism might be weakened etc.etc.
I'd be looking for a new one if I were you, sorry.
