Has passed away..

The man, along with morph and Mr Bennett, had me glued to my TV when I was a kid to see if my Picture was in the Gallery...

Sad, sad news.

He was 83.

Sad

Very sad indeed.

Hasn't been able to draw for ages apparently, following the strokes he suffered.
Is a shame, but least he went peacefully! Never got one of my pictures featured on 'The Gallery'... but there's probably a good reason for that!

We were only talking about him the other day and had to google as to whether he was still alive!

A real shame. He was in the same league as Johnny "think of a number" Ball as a great host. Sadly missed Sad

I thought you were going to say in the same league as Johnny Morris.
Maybe I'm a bit older than most on here. Sad

Just a huge part of kids TV when there weren't 50 channels all showing middle class American kids in limitless identical sitcoms.

Every now and again one of his past shows is repeated on one of the back-end channels. I never realised it before, but no-one rocks a cravat like ol' TH.

He will be sadly missed
