Don't know where to begin with this one it is soooo bad in every way

Honestly, there's loads. Quantum of Solace was boring as hell. Indy was laughably atrocious. I got about half an hour thorough Meet the Spartans. Doomsday.. well, I've commented about that elsewhere so won't repeat myself. Zohan, The Happening, the love guru.... i just can't go on. So much crap, so little time

Without a doubt Cloverfield was the biggest piece of over rated s**t!!

Besides the Dark Knight, I can't really think of a film that was exceptional, Indy Jones was a bit of a let down (maybe because i'm not 11 years old anymore!)

Oooh, oooh, I forgot about Meet the Spartans! I successfully wiped it from my memory because I saw it on BD, not at the cinema. That wins, hands down. Worst mainstream film I've ever seen. Would never have watched it if it wasn't for a review, but still, painful...

To those calling Indy, Cloverfield, QoS etc the worst films of the year, surely their technical merits alone prohibit that? Whether you like them or not, they're all well made, fairly big-budget films, unlike s***e like Meet the Spartans.

Worst cinema release was probably Sweeney Todd. To clarify, it all looked nice, and the acting was great, and as I'm sure I said at the time, it's a stupid thing to say, but too much singing! Yes I know it's a musical, but i think if it had been a "normal" film instead I would have loved it.

The worst film I saw though would have to be Nightstalker (no I had never heard of it either) but some-one at work lent me it, thinking I'd like it. It's very bad, but not even so bad it's good

While I see your pint, I disagree (apart from cloverfield, which I quite rated). I'll single out Indy, which was shat on from a great height my the insane paintbrush of Lucas. Technical acheivent should not redeem a title by its own merits. Look at the poseidon remake. Oscar nominated special effects simply couldn't disguise what a steaming turd it was.

(sorry for poor punctuation, got a rabbit on my lap and only have one free hand - make of that what you will)

I think its been a fairly good year,can't say any of those mentioned (Not seen Spartans,Scorpian King) are bad films they tend to suffer from the hype that is heaped upon them by trendy critics,great expectations and all that, Indy film a very poor ending ( unlike the Mist) but you got your moneys worth.
